CHOCOLATE BANANA + OATMEAL BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE RECIPE

Continuing with that same Inflammation-Fighting Energy we kicked off last week, to help give your Monday a boost (and, quite frankly, a boost to ANY morning), I'm sharing one of my favorite breakfast smoothie recipes! 

As featured in the debut "Treat Yourself to Wellness" Video episode, this smoothie packs a powerful punch, and this is not because it is so delicious due to the decadent cacao mixed in. 

This smoothie puts the focus on BLADDERWRACK and IRISH SEA MOSS!

Ideal for those with thyroid problems, hardening of the arteries, iodine deficiencies, achey joints and arthritis, Bladderwrack is rich in mucilage which may be advantageous for those with gastritis, as it’s slippery nature soothes irritated mucus membranes of the digestive track. Irish Sea Moss is robust with potassium chloride which reduces inflammation and phlegm in the mucus membranes that cause overall congestion.

BANANA + OATMEAL BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE RECIPE

Ingredients:

  1. 500ml Almond Milk
  2. 2 Frozen Banana's
  3. 1 cup of oatmeal
  4. MICOPEIA's Organic Chocolate Vegan Protein Blend (Heirloom Cacao with Rice, Pea, Hemp and Pumpkin Protein)
  5. 1/2 Tb Spoon - Chia Seeds
  6. 1/2 Tb Spoon - Flaxseed
